We want you to love your saree. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

Returns

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is:

  • Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
  • In its original condition, with all tags attached
  • Returned with its original packaging and any included items, such as the blouse

To protect all our customers, we can’t accept returns of sarees that show signs of wear, perfume, makeup, stains, or damage.

Items That Can’t Be Returned

  • Custom-stitched blouses or items with alterations, fall and pico, or other customization
  • Items marked as final sale

Exchanges

Exchanges are handled case by case. If you’d like to exchange a saree for a different item, please contact us with your order number, and we’ll do our best to find a solution.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at contact@urbansarees.com within 7 days of delivery, with your order number and the reason for your return.
  2. We’ll reply with return instructions and the return address.
  3. Ship the item back with a trackable shipping method. Please don’t send returns without contacting us first.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take a few extra days for the refund to appear. Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or isn’t what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We’ll make it right with a replacement, exchange, or full refund, and cover the return shipping.

A Note on Handcrafted Sarees

Many of our sarees are handwoven or handcrafted. Slight irregularities in weave, print, or zari are a natural part of their character, not defects. Colors may also look slightly different in person than on screen, depending on your device settings and lighting. We do our best to photograph every saree accurately, and we’re always happy to send extra photos or a video before you buy.
